Modern Warfare 3: Drop Zone Could Make a Return

The addition of “Infected” gamemode to Modern Warfare 3 knocked off Drop Zone from the community playlists angering fans in the process.

Earlier today, Activision’s Dan Amrich asked upset fans, via Twitter, to either play Drop Zone in private matches, or politely voice their concerns on the official forums to “let the devs know.” The team behind Modern Warfare 3 took notice of the fan feedback, stating “we hear what you’re saying about missing Drop Zone in MW3 loud and clear!” Unfortunately, Modern Warfare 3 is currently “limited on playlist space,” according to Robert Bowling. However, Bowling assured that they are “looking at solutions for it!” Bowling last month promised to rotate gamemodes in the community playlists. Hopefully, Drop Zone will make its way back to the community playlists as it had an active player base.

Work on an update that can allow more playlists.
Both were a Success and im not very active in either one, but they are fun to from time to time. for all i care, Take out demolition.Its my favorite gametype but the new update ruined that it because they fixed the spawns and so their is no more spawn trapping.If you dont like getting killed at spawn, play something else.i understand why they do it, but there is no excuse for when they spawn in my spawn and kill me from behind. if they wanted to make things better, spawn them in the middle.IW is getting worse and worse everyday

Black Ops has much less playlists considering that MW3 has 3 options for playlists and then only about 5-10 in each of those playlists. Halo was just built differently. I still did like Drop Zone though...

Seal There are over 60,000 people on infected. Drop Zone never had much more than 10,000.


Thats because it's infected, Everyone wants to play it because 'its so amazing' Drop zone was by far the better gamemode IMO because I loved capturing the care packages and getting some nice feeds along the way.

if there gonna add community playlists just keep all the playlists instead of deleting them, i know he said they have limited space but they should just keep all the community playlists that they add unless no one likes them, like infection playlist isnt even set up right all the game modes suck for infection that they made
