Infinity Ward will work with Treyarch more in the future

According to the Official Xbox Magazine, Infinity Ward and Treyarch have had a rebellious tension the past couple years when it came to Call of Duty, and why wouldn’t they? Both studios should always strive to improve and out do the previous Call of Duty entry. However, with more and more new features shared between the studios like “Gun Game” and “One in the Chamber”, the the studios will finally band together more in the future according to Infinity Ward.

In the newest OXM issue hitting news stands this month, Robert Bowling said “I think there will always be a lot of communication back and forth. At the end of the day we are two different developers and we have different opinions about the games we make and the games they make. When we do something really great it would be good for theirs, and when they do something really great it would be good for ours, so I think you are going to see a lot more of that. We’re taking in feedback as a franchise as a whole, not just our individual iterations any more.”

He made similar remarks to NowGamer.com when he said “Every year, we have that challenge of looking at what the previous Call of Duty has done, and trying to learn from that and better our own game because of it. do the same thing with Treyarch games, and I hope that they do the same thing with our games.”

When asked about how Call of Duty should change during the leap to Xbox 720 he said “After any big project you sit down and decide where we want to go next,” Bowling commented, “and in that conversation we consider what new technology is going to be available to us, what restrictions no longer apply that were there in the past and what our resources are, so especially in a transitional period in our industry that’s also something we have to take in. Right now, we haven’t decided what our next move is as Infinity Ward, but we are going to be taking all of that to our next iteration.”

Please do not let this happen. The way IW went, I do not want them to help with Treyarch. IW will make the multiplayer like mega face paced, add qsing, all these glitches, and no security. And then for zombies they will add their stupid gun stations and perk stations if you want a gun or perk and add leveling up in zombies so you can buy better guns. Leave it to the new pros, not the remnants of a very good game company.

Gow Treyarks only good game was waw blops was the biggest piece of crap I have ever played i think infinity ward should stick to mower day shooters like mower day weapons and vehicles and Treyark should stick to world war etc only problem was I don't think there security is that great you can mod 10th w a USB yet u still can't do that on waw


1. It's Treyarch - not Treyark

On Topic:
The only good things Treyarch made, are Zombie Mode and Wager Matches. I never really liked any of Treyarch's Games.


Actually your second fix is wrong.
It's modern day. Not mower days / or nowadays.

They are really two different games, ones more realistic and ones more of an arcade shooter. But if you want to go there.

COD'S next move should be to either make you find a new game engine instead of using the same one for 12 years it gets kinda old and feels like a rip off to the customer.

OMG my zombies the unstoppable army of the undead will be ruined by IW. They will put killstreaks and juggernaut zombies with tiny maps.Cllof duty zombies 1945-1991 you will be missed by all.

IRE With Treyarc Servers that will be good. IW Story Line. There is more good and bad reasons. This will be a good combo
I would not like to see a IW campaign, all they do is chase people and at the end they either die or get away.Remember MW? You were injured very badly and kill sheperd, MW2 at the end your on the ground about to die and kill Makarov, see what i'm getting at? All IW's campaigns end on the ground or death. I would like to see Treyarch's campaign with IW graphics,Then would it be a good...not good but, great campaign!
