Call of Duty Elite subs getting four more pieces of unnamed content this year

If those 20 pieces of planned DLC for Modern Warfare 3 weren't enough for you, perhaps four additional bits will do the trick. Activision is sharing the four-piece bonus with Elite subscribers throughout the coming months, but isn't saying exactly what the content will be. All we know is that it'll be interspersed throughout the planned Elite content "season."

Elite's platform ubiquity is increasing as well, with the service's planned launch on tablets coming in the near future. Nearly 2 million folks have already snagged the app across both iOS and Android -- that's quite a few, considering approximately 7 million folks are Elite users. Activision promises a variety of (specified) updates to Elite's functionality over the next few months.

Robert Bowling said that if they DO release classic maps, they will be free and not DLC.

DeadlyDasher Some of yall aren't too bright, how could they give us a gun pack? If they gave us a gun pack they would have to give everyone a gun pack because people would complain about elite subs having an unfair advantage.

Someone needs to go to Robert Bowlings twitter a little more. Some people have asked him about a gun pack and he simply said, "We certainly can. We do have the technology." So I wouldn't count it out too soon. And when you say "unfair advantage" it isn't unfair everyone has a chance to get the ELITE membership and if you do get it late you get every piece of dlc that was released.
Yeah, it wouldn't be unfair. That's similar to saying it's unfair that you have to wait to unlock weapons like the ACR vs the M16. It unfair that he get to use the ACR because he is a higher rank. When really they could thro in a few cool guns just don't make them OP.

The big reason of paying $50 is to save $10 in all DLC contents. Elite is only something extra so is not really a big problem that anybody should be mad about it because you still getting the DLCs.

Yeah dlc that I have to either play...
1. In core mode (which I absolutely hate)
2. In that hardcore moshpit crap.
3. In private match.

I have noticed that at the bottom of the screen you can enable/disable the dlc. So why isnt it integrated and everyone that has it lobbied together so that we can play it in our fav modes with the people that have it. It cant be that hard for them to do it. So essentially, I paid 50 bucks for maps that I cant play. I play MW3 strictly for the Hardcore Kill Confirmed. I have not touched any other mode. With the exception of a few matches on mosh pit. For me, its a waste of money.

I am doubting a gun pack unless it is for everyone for free. Some people legitly cannot afford map packs or elite. So they would have an unfair advantage compared to elite subscribers.
