Robert Bowling resigns from Infinity Ward

Today another key figure in the CoD community has stepped down from their official standing. Robert Bowling or fourzerotwo has stepped down from Infinity Ward as a creative strategist. In the years he has been with Infinity Ward he has become somewhat of a icon for CoD players when it comes to new happenings and issues with the games. When a known face like fourzerotwo leaves a company, it’s worth knowing about regardless if you love them or hate them.

He made this announcement via twitter as shown below, Twitter has been the social platform that he most vocally communicated with players.

While we here at TheTechGame have been a home for some of the biggest headaches to fourzerotwo, we recognize his efforts to make the CoD community a better environment for all even in the midst of pesky things like lobbies. We wish him the best of success at whatever he jumps into next.

Update: Here's Activision's official comment on the news: "We sincerely thank Robert for his many years of service. He's been a trusted and valued member of the Infinity Ward team. We wish him all the best on his decision to pursue future opportunities."

He said "no Last Stand", and Final Stand is not Last Stand.

He said "no Juggernaut" (perk). MW3's Juggernaut is a killstreak and it last until they kill you. If you had played CoD4 or CoD WaW you know what he meant.

He said "no game ending nuke". A M.O.A.B. is a like a nuke but it does not end the game, it just EMP the enemy for 60 second and kill everybody on the enemy team.

He said "no commmando". Knife speed is not commando and it doesn't help in any way to knife an enemy from far away.

I know EXACTLY as to what he left for. Simply because CoD is no longer original. CoD 4's killstreaks, weapons, style, and just EVERYTHING was new. CoD1 to 2, huge difference, mostly in online. CoD 2 to 3, DRIVEABLE vehichles. 4, for god sakes it was a new era of graphics and the ranking system has increased, especially the map maker's skills. Now maps suck, same stuff slightly greater graphics and 2 things maybe added and called a new CoD.

I'm guessing the reason is because Call of Duty 8 and black ops isn't that great, I like the Original Call of Duty's. From the beginning of Call of Duty to Call of Duty 6 is the best because Call of Duty 7 & 8 ruined it with the graphics and the people on it. Everyone try-hards on it and stuff like that.

the only reason he reisigned was because he sucked at everything he's the reason the game sucked. ohh did u notice the game got a little bit better when he resigned? well i did . im glad he resigned! hopefully we get someone better. I AM A HUGE HATER OF HIM!!!

Actually a MOAB means Massive Ordinance Air Blast Bomb for one, and it is non-nuclear so I guess he won that argument
