Xbox Free Games with Gold for October 2021 Revealed

October is nearly upon us, which means a new batch of Xbox free Games with Gold games. Microsoft has officially announced the four Xbox Games with Gold games coming to the service in October 2021, and as usual, the new lineup consists of two Xbox 360 titles and two Xbox One games.

On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can look forward to adding Aaero and Hover to their digital library in the month of October. Aaero will be free from October 1 through October 31, while Hover will be free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers from October 16 to November 15. Aaero earned positive reviews at the time of its release, though the same can't be said for Hover. However, being able to try it out for free may leave fans with a new appreciation of the game.

The Xbox 360 offerings may be a bit more interesting to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. From October 1 to October 15, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, a co-op focused Castlevania spin-off game that first launched for Xbox Live Arcade all the way back in 2010. Castlevania: Harmony of Despair earned mixed reviews when it first launched, but fans of the franchise may still want to give it a go, especially if they've never had a chance to play it before.

And finally, Resident Evil Code: Veronica X will be free from October 16 to October 31. Resident Evil Code: Veronica X is a main series Resident Evil game starring Claire Redfield as she fights back against zombies and all kinds of other horrific creatures brought about by Umbrella's twisted experiments. With no Resident Evil Code: Veronica remake in sight, now's the perfect time to revisit the classic, especially since it will be joining the Xbox Live Games with Gold lineup just in time for Halloween.

While Xbox Live Gold subscribers wait for the new batch of free games to be added next month, they still have time to claim the Xbox free Games with Gold for September 2021. And they will have until the middle of October to add Mulaka to their collection, as it won't be leaving the Games with Gold lineup until October 15.
