Recently, for instance, it came to light that those played Back 4 Blood’s campaign by themselves would face some significant blocks, such as not being able to unlock achievements, not being able to earn supply points (which are crucial to progression, and as such, playing the game), or not being able to track in-game stats. Understandably, this drew a lot of backlash from people.
Turtle Rock has responded to those criticisms now. Taking to Twitter, the developer acknowledged the “frustration” about progression blocks in the game’s solo campaign, and said it is “discussing ways to address the issue.” There’s no word on when we can expect a fix, or what kind of a fix it will be, but the developer writes: “We’ll have more news as we strategize on potential ways to make it happen.” Here’s hoping it’s not long before they figure it out.
Back 4 Blood is out on October 12 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
