During the campaign, players will find armour lockers dotted around Zeta Halo containing cosmetics that can used in the game’s multiplayer mode.
But if users play the campaign offline or get kicked from online services—which can happen when using Quick Resume—the cosmetics won’t be available to them in their Halo Infinite multiplayer inventory.
343 Industries community director Brian Jarrard warned fans about the issue on Twitter and said the studio was working on a fix for it.
“The team is aware and we will eventually have a retroactive fix (you will get the cosmetics you’ve earned),” he said.
“For now, I recommend not continuing a Quick Resume session and making sure you’re online before venturing into Zeta Halo.”
Having originally been scheduled for release in November 2020 as an Xbox Series X/S launch title, the latest entry in Microsoft’s flagship series finally hit consoles and PC on Wednesday.
