Activision revealed Black Ops II on the E3 show floor today. The game takes place in the following locations and time periods: Los Angeles 2025, Angola 1986, Cayman Trench 2025, Afghanistan 1986, and Singapore 2025. The plot of the continuation of Activision’s best-selling game features high-end computer technology that supersedes the computational power of the entire United States defense department in a single processor. An unknown enemy has access to this technology, and it is being used to launch a cyber-attack against the world. The futuristic warfare gameplay includes high-tech airplanes powered by massive fans built into the wings. Some of these planes allow players to launch heat-seeking missiles against enemy players. In addition to that, the preview of the 1986 warfare locations revealed players riding and attacking enemy players on horseback. Activision did not specify a release date for Black Ops II, but we speculate it to be in quarter four of this year, as every other Call of Duty was.
