Dying Light 2 Stay Human Won’t Have Cross-Play Support at Launch

3.5
Dying Light 2 Stay Human is promising a massive, expansive single player action RPG experience when it launches in a little over a couple of weeks, but for those who’re looking for a multiplayer experience, Techland’s open world game is going to have 4 player-co-op on offer as well. That said, it’s not going to feature cross-play support at launch.

In a recent Q&A stream over on Twitch (via MP1st), Dying Light 2 Stay Human creative director Tymon Smektala confirmed in response to a question that the game won’t feature cross-play upon release. He said: “No, not at this moment. It won’t be available.”

When asked if cross-gen cross-play within the same family of consoles will be available – Xbox Series X/S players playing with Xbox One players, for instance – Smektala said that this isn’t going to be in the game either- though it could be added post-launch. “This won’t be possible at the launch of the game, but we are working to make it possible after the launch,” he said.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is due out on February 4 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and as a cloud-exclusive release for the Nintendo Switch. You can download the latest Dying Light 2 Trainer and cheats for free from WeMod.

So irritating how there isn't a finished product on release day anymore.
