The teaser ends with the slogan "race together" followed by a pink and blue heart. What this could mean is up in the air, but given the teaser mentions Sony AI and Gran Turismo developer Polyphony, we have a pretty good idea.
Last year, Sony and Polyphony published a paper about using machine learning to create more human-like AI opponents in Gran Turismo. The idea would be for the AI to use visual cues to learn how to drive just like a human would. Those cues could include turns on a racetrack, speed and braking force, as well as the placement of rival cars. Eventually, the AI would learn how to drive and even got within the top 10% of lap times produced by human opponents.

Sony and Polyphony are promising more details to arrive tomorrow, February 9. We’ll be sure to keep tuned to the Gran Turismo Twitter channel to find out more.
Last week, Sony's State of Play was all about Gran Turismo 7. We got to see 30 minutes of gameplay that included new locations and game modes coming in the latest PlayStation racer. One of those locations included a used car dealership where players could purchase new cars. Available cars will be updated daily and shift depending on demand to be more like a real-world car market.
There's also a cafe where you can get virtual coffee and a museum where you can learn more about automotive history. In total there will be 34 different locations and 90 different circuits that are a mix of real-life and fantasy track designs.
Gran Turismo 7 arrives on the PlayStation 4 and 5 on March 4.
