Modern Warfare 3 devs ask which playlists do you want added?

The teams behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 would like to to know what new games modes you would like to see in the game.

In a poll up on the official CoD Forums, MW3 devs want you to vote for one of the following options seen below, noting that they will have a separate poll for Face Off game modes in the near future.

Some of the more interesting ideas shown below are the knife only, 3rd person, MLG Rules and Sniper/Shotgun only playlists. The dev team has also been listening to community feedback, it seems, with the inclusion of the assassin, support streak, deathstreak, blind eye free playlist.

The two most popular, so far, seem to be the Snipers only/No Snipers and the MLG Rules/Competitive mode.

Hardcore Ground War
Knife only
3rd Person
Snipers only/No Snipers
Shotguns only/No shotguns
Hardcore CTF
MLG Rules/Competitive mode
Assassin, support streak, deathstreak, blind eye free
Barebones FFA

I think snipers would be next in line but I think it wouldn't be as good as people think as all anybody will do is hard scope apart from the few that do want to QS in which case will be killed by hardscopers camping.


Shotguns only on small maps like Dome, Erosion and Aground would be amazing < 3

What is the problem with 'hardscopting'? aka using the sniper rifle properly?

Last time i checked, a sniper is NOT a shotgun, yet people think it's uber cool to jump off a high place with commando pro (so they don't die) and quickly pull off a 360 quickscope. Seriously? those people either get shotgun'd or pro piped.

thats what im saying i was looking at it and i was like woah thats not in mw3 and then i checked all of the lmgs and yeah m240 i guess is coming back with the ak74u hopefully all of this is going to happen the 26

Team Deathmatch with single spawns and round based, just like search and destroy without the bomb.
