Minecraft XBLA character skin pack features a few favorites

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is getting a DLC pack with 40 character skins, set to drop around the same time as title update 1.7.3, which entered Microsoft certification today. Some of the skins are originals, while five of them in particular are based on popular Xbox franchises.

The character pack will include Creeper, 'Splosion Man, Trials dude, Covenant Grunt and King skins, all of which you can see above. Shh, though – don't tell the 'Splosion Man skin that he just looks like a naked dude with jaundice.

Sweet 40 new skins, I've been getting sick of the old ones. Lol is the farthest one to the right a Trials Evolution skin?

Nope 10 days max.


If the verification is failed and 4J have to retry it, the whole verification process will take longer.

I'm stoked that it's being updated and skins are coming with it. Xbox 360 edition may become more popular :O

I thought you would only get those 5, but for 40 skins, it's worth the money. I was talking with my friends about custom skins only yesterday, how convenient. They should let you import textures through USB or something. Maybe they can have a contest, and 5 winners or something get their skin to be a free DLC. That would be cool.
