Infinity Ward CV suggests next CoD releases on both current and next-gen

Superannuation has posted another sleuth feature on Kotaku, and it, the anonymous researcher has cited the resume of Infinity Ward’s lead engineer and project manager, Andrew Aye. The CVG states he is working on an “unannounced title,” which is likely Modern Warfare 4 which is set for a release sometime in 2013 – if previous releases are any indication. Platforms noted for the game were Xbox 360, PS3, PC DX11, and “TBA” – which could either mean Wii U or the next console from Sony or Microsoft. Aye also noted he’s hard at it on “support game and engine development”, as well as being “responsible for setting technical direction and design for a new high-end DX11 code base”. This has lead Super to conclude the next CoD game from Infinity War will “be an entirely different game from the current-generation versions, as was the case for Call of Duty 2.”

yeah, everything starting going downhill around the end of mw2, beginning of BO.


Cod 4 was the best mw2 was good mw3 sucked except for the last mission


Mw3 = Terrible
Cod 4 - Amazing
Black Ops = Only good for zombies
Mw2 = Great
Cod 5 = Good
Bops 2 = TBD

MW3 and BO.


I think mw3 is terrible so boring and has alot of sweaty 12 year olds on it and black ops is alright zombies is the best feature on it tho

upd8 I bet you games released on the future consoles will also be compatible with the old ones, it's a smart idea and although you'll gain less revenue, people won't be as mad at you. They don't really need anymore money, admit it!


I hope the 720 can play 360 games, like how the 360 can play original xbox games.

It would make a lot of people happy if they kept it the way it is.

yeah they usually do, but you have to pay more for it to be able to play older systems games.


No I don't think so since I didn't have to pay extra for it.

Ugh, now I have to buy it.

I'm sure i'll be getting the 720 but not too sure about continuing playing CoD.


If BO2 is terrible, that might just ruin COD entirely for me.
