Xbox 720: "new Xbox" is "coming out with Windows 8"

Xbox 720 is “coming out with Windows 8,” according to what could be a slip-up by Microsoft general manager Brian Hall.

Hall was discussing the launch of Outlook.com in an interview with The Verge when he mentioned the “new Xbox” in relation to Windows 8.

Here’s the full quote:

“We’ve had Hotmail and operated Hotmail for about 16 years, we obviously have Exchange, and Outlook, that people use at work. We just decided it was time to do something new and bring the best from each of those and put them together and release it right in time for the new wave of products that we could have coming out with Windows 8, with the new version of Office with the new Windows phone and the new Xbox.”

Yes xbox has been out for 7 years not sure about ps3

Not really would be loaded with stuff that the current xbox does not have i doubt they would release a brand new console just for windows 8 to be on it


yeah that's true, who knows what the new features will be though, besides windows 8 of course, the console is set for roughly 18 months to release so there could be many new good things on it :)


It better have some REALLY special on it if they want me to buy it. If not, my current Xbox is perfectly fine.

There shouldn't be a new console! The current Xbox has everything we need! Internet, Netflix, Games! They just want money :l

Emazing-Lights Yeah that's mainly what gaming industries are doing right now just getting money out of us for something we don't need.


They already have enough money though, they don't need any more :X
