Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar teases possible Black ops 2 Emblems

Treyarch’s Game Design Director David Vonderhaar has been teasing the Call of Duty community on twitter recently. He’s had several profile picture changes the last couple of days it seems. No word yet on if we’re looking at prestige or callsign emblems. The last emblem probably isn’t game related as he added it when the (U.S.) Football Pre-season started.

seems to think the emblems are related to a new “Multiplayer League” system which might include new matchmaking and ranking.

vegetajp Hopefully they find a way to implement both of these systems into the game. Like you still get xp and can level up and prestige, but your trueskill rank doesn't level up unless you win matches consistently.


You sir should be the new community manager for BO2, because I agree with you.

I also think it would be neat if on your first prestige, all of your emblems would be the same as another COD. Second, another cod. if you know what I mean. I think that would be really cool, even though I don't think that they would do it.


I think they should take out the trueskill idea and stop trying to copy halo's old ranking system.

Well who says this COD has to be like the last? I would like something new brought to the table. All the COD's so far are the same sh!t.


Know what you mean and there is loads of new stuff brought to the table also these are ranking badges i believe so that is also something new


I think it's the same as CoD ELITE with the badges since you have to do clan ops to earn the badges.
