Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD comes to PSN August 28, PC afterward

Tired of replaying old Tony Hawk PlayStation games on your PS3? You'll be able to play a kinda new version soon. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD will arrive on PSN August 28.

"The PC version will come soon after," developer Robomodo said on its Facebook page. "Exact date to be shared as soon as we know it." The game was a timed exclusive on Xbox 360 last month as part of the Summer of Arcade, where it has met with success.

Agree but i'd like a bmxing game on the xbox


you still have to consider the development process of a game like that. it would be pretty hard to pull off IMO.


With today's game companies? This would be no hard task.

eh, it'll still be a difficult task. i mean i'm not saying it's impossible but i just don't see it happening in the next few years


I do? I'm no game dev, but I honestly don't see this as something hard to do.


BMXes are more complicated than skateboards. They're gonna have to program handlebar, frame, pedals, cranks, and maybe other parts' movements. Then you also have pegs. It would be way too hard to make a game like Skate but with BMXes. Something like the BMX in Tony Hawk's American Wasteland would be pretty easy (direction+button combo).


goodness had so much fun with that game and yea would be awesome to have a game with BMX but with the skate controlls

Use the keyboard and mouse...? Or just plug in an xbox controller, if you really have to.
