Minecraft sales pass seven million on PC

Minecraft sales continue unabated. Daniel Kaplan, business developer at Mojang, revealed today that the PC version of Minecraft has exceeded sales of seven million units; comparatively, the Xbox Live Arcade version has sold three million.

The seven millionth sale comes a week after Minecraft's 1.31 patch, which adds trading functionality and combines both single-player and multiplayer into one unified mode.

7 million on the PC + the million on Xbox... That's pretty good for an little sandbox game. :D


Its not really a little sand box game anymore. It started out as a crappy little indie game but It got big and they kept updating it,now look where it is compared to the first version.

I can't wait and also i bet when they released minecraft they never thought it would end up this popular


Lol i wouldnt have either, its a really simple game, probaly didnt cost alot to make , yet there making a huge profit
