Netflix adds people search to Xbox 360 app

Netflix recently announced that its people search feature has landed on Xbox 360. The searching method, which is already included in the PS3 Netflix app, includes actors and directors among its search results. It's especially useful if you like having Julia Roberts movie marathons (and really, who doesn't?). People search also works with Kinect, but good luck getting the system to understand "M. Night Shyamalan."

Also, we discovered that "Tommy Wiseau" does not turn up any results using people search. You're tearing him apart, Netflix.

I would agree. I remember I tried to watch a few films with Paul Walker, but I couldn't find any because you couldn't do this. So I agree it's a great idea.

They are probably working on it, I presume it takes a long time to gather a collection to release.

That's actually a pretty awesome add-on, I always know the Actors name in the film, but forget what it's called so this should be really helpful!

Disregard my previous comment, I misread the article.

There is actor search as well, which just made me appreciate this about 10,000 times more.

Can't even begin to tell you how many times I've mentioned to my friends that you need to be able to search for a movie by the actor's name.

This is a second best to that. I hope they add that in eventually, but if not, it won't really matter.. I always find something to watch. :P

Yeah, every time I watch movies with my friends, I have to sync it up.


Yeah it would be amazing if you could watch it as a party.

Me and my friend tried to do the same on sky player and it didn't work on that either... :/

Would be a good feature.
