Charlie Crawford is the new Specialist joining the Battlefield 2042 roster of No-Pats, who was originally an MI6 agent that turned rogue to become a dark market king. Born in London, Crawford was one of the elite MI6 agents before starting his criminal activities. While he was once arrested by MI6 agents, his dark market crew managed to get him back to the criminal underworld.
Crawford is specialized in heavy weapons and his special ability is to deploy a stationary machine gun with side shields in any given space. This surely makes Crawford an ideal Specialis to hold objectives.
On the other hand, the new map is Stranded, which somehow looks like Discarded. The map seems to be set in the Panama Canal with a huge stranded ship in the middle of it. The concept looks like Discarded a lot, but it has a huge potential for ground vehicle battles.
Battlefield 2042 Season 2 will also bring the reworked versions of Renewal and Orbital maps. The new version of Renewal will be available in September, while Orbital rework will be coming with a mid-season update in October.
Going over to new weapons, you can expect the addition of AM40 assault rifle, Avancys LMG, PF51 pistol, and concussion grenades. In the case of vehicles, you can expect two new fast ground vehicles in Master of Arms. The first one is a two-seat Polaris RZR that is only used for fast transportation without any mounted weapons. The other one is EBLC-RAM with one machine gun and one high-power explosive launcher.
Battlefield 2042 Season 2 Master of Arms will be available on August 30 across all platforms for free. DICE has not revealed anything from the new Battle Pass yet. Also, the new Battlefield Portal content is yet to be revealed officially.
We will get the full list of changes and additions through the update patch notes one day prior to the launch of Season 2.
