It was less than a week ago that Microsoft officially revealed Mineral Cameo as a brand-new color for Xbox controller, but it seems there are more special colors coming up as a recent leak reveals a new color-changing Xbox controller.

As reported by GamesRadar, a Twitter user recently shared two screenshots from an unannounced Xbox Series X|S controller called Lunar Shift. The leaker claims that they have spotted it on Amazon's listing, but the controller is currently not listed on Amazon.

According to the shared screenshots, the controller has a gold-ish color, but it actually changes with light and motion. It can be understood from the screenshots that motion or light causes the color of the controller to become lighter or darker. The back of the controller is black, but it features a swirl color texture grip that helps you hold the controller tightly in your hands.

Thus far, we haven't seen anything official from Microsoft or Xbox on the Lunar Shift controller, but there is the possibility that we get an official announcement in the following days as the same scenario happened with the Mineral Cameo Xbox controller.

If the leak turns out to be true, Lunar Shift would be the first Xbox controller that reacts to motion and light, but it remains unknown if this feature would increase the base price of the controller compared to the ordinary colors.

Both Microsoft and Sony have recently made some big moves in the case of announcing new accessories for their flagship gaming consoles. Microsoft recently revealed a lower-tier version of its Elite controller that comes with fewer customizable parts and costs less than the Elite 2 Series. On the other hand, Sony announced its first customizable controller for PlayStation 5 called DualSense Edge, but it still doesn't have a release date.

In addition to controllers, the leaks suggest that Sony is also planning to launch a new version of PlayStation 5 in 2023, which will weigh significantly less than the current versions of the console. That being said, it has not been confirmed officially yet.
