Black Ops 2: Stolen and Modded?

It seems that a youtuber has stolen a testing build of Black Ops 2 off the xbox live servers. According to sources the build codenamed Phoenix was stolen using unauthorized access to the xbox live content system via marketplace manipulation.

There have been some recent tweaks to the content system due to programs allowing anyone to map and view hidden content on both the xbox live and pnet(developer) networks. We are being told that a listing of black ops 2 with hidden content being shown will reveal "Phoenix", this is the probable source of the leak being shown as hacked in the video below that has been archived by us for use in this article.

What is your opinion of both the leak due to marketplace manipulation and the decision to hack it? Should they have tighter control systems in place to stop thing like this from happening?

What every year a "new" Call of Duty comes out with the same old graphics,gameplay, and design!

In the end Call of Duty always makes more money due to all the little kids and people who HAVE to have the "new" Call of Duty every year.
But Halo always brings new surprises and actually is WORTH GETTING.

you're wrong in many ways, first off, compare cod4, waw or mw2 to black ops 2. completely different. may look a bit similar to black ops 1 but still with many differences.
secondly, cod actually comes out every 2 years by each company. infinity ward and treyarch just alternate each year, meaning they have 2 years to work on their titles. black ops 2 has been worked on for at least 2 years.

thirdly, this is not a hack, it was confirmed by treyarch that this is NOT the retail version, but the demo for developers, which would entitle them to use such tools like UFO, etc.


I'm sorry but this is where you're wrong. CoD went downhill after WaW because everything after WaW is basically the same. I'm only buying this crap because I love playing with my friends and of course they're gonna buy it because its just another cod game. As for UFO mode, no clip, and other mods, those aren't supposed to be in the game. AT ALL. Not for Devs, not for testers, not for anyone. The developers do use it you idiot. thats why there is noclip and console in the pc version what do you think thats all modded in by walmart? and walmart puts in console and noclip on the pc version? you are such an idiot. noclip and ufo is an mflag. When you spawn and cant move thats an mflag. being able to run around is an mflag. Its lazy developing is what it is as they dont remove the mflags that dont need to be there before shipping. this build however i can understand it being left in as it was for developers. I can gurantee you over half the community doesnt even know wtf an mflag is. So before you talk about stuff you "know" about please do some research

You realize the only reason this was modded is because it hasn't been released yet, don't you? You do realize that EVERY single game in the world can be modded, it's just the matter of it being online/offline and patched/un-patched, right? And cool dude you have your opinion on CoD vs. Halo.. Everyone has one. They're also completely different games. If every game out there was the way you wanted it, there wouldn't be a variety.
