Minecraft Xbox update preview

Mojang has posted a quick preview of the next update coming to Minecraft XBLA. In the list below, you can see three different shots from the upcoming patch, including what appear to be some Endermen (in a picture labeled by Mojang as "the most anticipated thing on Xbox 360"), an underground zombie, and even a spider at the end of a rail line.

And below: a brief video showing off a new sheep pet coming to XBLA's Avatars. The sheep looks cute indeed, but that pixelated wool can't be ideal for a sweater.

Yea there isn't one yet but my friend told me it was supposed to come out today!


Nope, they haven't even put it in MS Cert Test. When they do, it takes up to 10 days for it to be approved for release.

AR15 This update is cool and all, but I don't really want the hunger bar.
When you play creative mode, the hunger bar won't get in your way.

Yeah, you'll have to generate a new world to get all of the new features when it comes to the maps. But if there is a part of one of your old worlds where it isn't explored then you can explore it and the new terrain will appear, but it would be a little more unlikely that you'll find a ravine or one of the new features if there is only a tiny bit of unexplored space left.
