iPhone 5 lands over two million pre-orders in first 24 hours

iPhone 5 pre-orders topped two million units in just 24 hours.

That's more than double the previous record of one million held by iPhone 4S, according to Apple.
While the company says the majority of pre-orders "will be delivered" to customers in time for the iPhone release date of September 21, it adds that "many are scheduled to be delivered in October".

"iPhone 5 pre-orders have shattered the previous record held by iPhone 4S and the customer response to iPhone 5 has been phenomenal," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide marketing.

"iPhone 5 is the best iPhone yet, the most beautiful product we've ever made, and we hope customers love it as much as we do."

iPhone 5 features a bigger screen than its predecessors, a smaller dock connector and metal casing, along with enhanced first-party apps via the new iOS 6 update, and significantly faster processors which Apple says makes it capable of playing "console quality" games.

Ya its a stupid phone people need to see how they waste money lets say something cost $500 a week later its $300 same with this stupid phone wait a week and you get the real price for it and you save money. Did they fix the drop it and it breaks stuff yet? Hell no so thats really bad.
