Treyarch’s Black Ops 2 will convince you to play online again

An interesting interview from Kotaku was posted earlier today which featured Treyarch’s Director of Communications John Rafacz.

He starts by explaining Boot Camp: “There are three components to it,” he explains. “There’s a thing we call boot camp.

“Boot Camp is a mix of human and AI players versus a mix of human and AI players for full XP credit for the first ten levels. You are actually ranking up. Beyond level 10, once you pass that threshold, you start earning half XP. Then there’s bot stomp which is just you and your buddies wailing on the AI.”

Rafacz goes onto to discuss why Black Ops 2′s matchmaking will deliver on what they have said:
“That’s what gave rise to the thing we’re calling league play. This is a more robust matchmaking system. On day one you start playing and after a short while it starts to rank you. This is where we start matching you with people of like skill. Hopefully someone new to the game won’t be matched up against a true master.”

Rafacz continues on how they try to ‘control players’ from being offensive:
“The ability to report players for offensive language, offensive emblems, all of that will be in place. There’s a certain extent to which we hope people will be able to police themselves, and there’s no way we can personally account for bad apples, so we try and give people the tools to help people help themselves.”

“We’re trying to make sure people are focusing toward a more co-operative style of game.”

Yes they can, and will more than likely so i wouldnt recommend that.

Do you have the iso mate?
and there is a possibiliy but it my friend has been doing it for years and hasnt gotten banned others play one game and get banned...it all depends on how early you play the game.

MW3 was the worst call of duty i ever played, it was fun at first but now it is just horrible.
Snipers think it is all just kids that tryhard and camp.
Reg gunners (Bad kids) think that it is all just full of kids that camp
The game is horrible, and a lot of the guns are un-balanced.
You go in to a game and mostly kids will be using a ACR,PP90M1,MP7,UMP45,and thats pretty much it.

Yeah he did! I honestly LOVE Treyarch because they're much more dedicated and in my opinion better idea creators for a game! I think Black Ops 2 will have its pros but will also have its cons.
I personally hate MW3 and am very disappointed that I thought it was going to make MW2 look bad when instead MW2 made MW3 look bad. I didn't like Black Ops because it required the skill and the dedication to become good at the game but in the end... Black Ops was the best Call Of Duty ever created and that is my final word... P.S.
I enjoyed CoD 1,2,3,4... so I do in fact know my CoD history. and Black Ops won it.

But yes MW3 was horrible, the best cods are all of the ones before MW3...when i started getting bored of MW3 i went to CoD3 and to be honest CoD 3 is better than MW3, deadasss. Modern warfare 2 is a very well built game for snipers. Black ops wasn't so great for snipers but its allright you can still have fun with it. My favorite COD was CoD 4 until it got hacked up...yeah it is fun to use hacks sometimes but not online, no one wants superspeed to run around with, you cant get kills with that. Its almost like a switch when unlimeted ammo comes on, the noob tubes comeout as well.


I play MW3. I use an ACR, MSR, L118, USAS, MP7, CM901, PM-9, PP90M1, P90, M4A1, SCAR, Dragunov, FAD, MK14, M16, and basicly any other gun. Honestly the only people that hate a game are the ones who are bad at it.


I Highly doubt you'd use a Dragunov. That gun sucks in every game lol.

But back to the topic, the idea of a live + bot game mode is nice. Quite nice actually, especially so noobs can get used to it and not trash on every single CoD made *cough
