Originally set to launch on March 17, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has now been delayed by a month and a half. Taking recently to Twitter, EA and developer Respawn Entertainment announced that in order to get the game up to the required standard of quality and polish, it’s being pushed back by a few weeks and will now launch on April 28.
“In order for the team to hit the Respawn quality bar, provide the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we have added six crucial weeks to our release schedule,” the developer wrote in its statement.
The game was recently rated by the ESRB ahead of its March release, suggesting that it was on track to launch as per schedule- though if nothing else, those anticipating its release will at least be pleased to know that it hasn’t been hit by a massive delay.
When it does launch, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
