Earlier today, Bandai Namco deployed a brand new patch update for Elden Ring. The 1.09 update required the game's servers to be taken offline for around 3 hours, but players are now able to jump back in after downloading the latest update.

Although there's no new content included in the March 23rd Elden Ring update, Bandai Namco has confirmed details on the new bug fixes and balance adjustments present in update 1.09. But, arguably one of the biggest things included in today's update, is the inclusion of ray tracing for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

The #ELDENRING servers will undergo maintenance today, March 23, 2022 to deploy patch 1.09.
This update contains balance adjustments and bug fixes.

Maintenance will begin at 0:00 PDT | 08:00 CET | 16:00 JST and last 3 hours on all platforms.
