A World of Warcraft player explored a piece of new content released in Patch 10.0.7 and discovered a secret room during their recent excursion. The player took to social media to share what they found, and other World of Warcraft players complimented them for their effort and asked questions about the steps they took to get to the secret room.

Recently, World of Warcraft released Patch 10.0.7, which brought players back to the Forbidden Reach to help the Dracthyr Evokers take back their home from the Primalists. One of the features of the Forbidden Reach is a new area called the Zskera Vaults, which may evoke memories of the Troves of the Thunder King released a decade ago in the Mists of Pandaria expansion. Players gain entry into the Zskera Vaults by using keys that can be earned by killing rare elite monsters that spawn throughout the map and completing various quests and objectives. Each key will open one door of the player's choice, with multiple doors located in the vault. However, one player discovered a secret room following a chain of events.

On Reddit, a World of Warcraft player named Snypaw posted their discovery on the r/wow subreddit. Snypaw, who plays as a Worgen Survival Hunter, was able to reach the secret room in the Zskera Vaults by repairing a broken waygate located on the western side of the Waking Shores zone, near the Obsidian Throne. While Snypaw remained unsure if any of the buffs he had were a determining factor in the waygate's repair, Snypaw stated that they had an item called Neltharion's Toolkit that they obtained during a previous excursion into the Zskera Vaults. By clicking on the broken waygate three times with the toolkit in their inventory, Snypaw was transported to the secret area in the Zskera Vaults that players cannot get into otherwise.

As for what awaited Snypaw in the vault, after defeating a few spiders, Snypaw stated that the loot they obtained was Antler Horns that can be used to customize the appearance of the renewed proto-drake, the first dragonriding mount in Dragonflight that players can get. Some World of Warcraft players clarified that Neltharion's Toolkit may not always appear within the Zskera Vaults, as the vaults will reset on Tuesdays during the game's weekly reset.

However, Snypaw's final discovery in the vault may have been a chilling clue into the past of the black dragonflight, as they discovered some broken dragon eggs lying around the vault room. Given the flight's troubled history, especially with the red dragonflight, only time will tell if what Snypaw discovered will be indicative of any events still to come in World of Warcraft's main story.
