GTA V details emerge: Protagonist 'is an East Coast gangster'

This week's issue of ShortList magazine carries the first solid information about Grand Theft Auto V's main character.

"The protagonist is an East Coast gangster" who moved to the game's Los Santos setting (Rockstar's take on LA and southern California) for a fresh start, the mag says.
"But, as in The Godfather III - just as he thought he was out, they pulled him back in."

GTA V is set to be revealed in full later today via the latest issue of Game Informer. At 11am Central time (5PM GMT) the magazine will unveil its cover art and offer a breakdown of the issue's 18-page GTA 5 preview.

Last week Rockstar finally confirmed that the GTA V release date will fall in spring 2013 on consoles.

Ya they should let modders have GTA4.
This looks cool I can now see we have life guards and stuff. We also have UZIs which looks cool.


Yeah but i would also like that we have Non-modders they ruined GTA 4 no offense to GTA 4 modders but they ruined it ..

Don't ruin GTA V when it comes out wait atleast 5 years.

This just gets better and better. Yeah, I hope no-body hacks it in the first few weeks either, it'll just ruin the game.. Like they did in GTA IV, Still can't have a fun game of it.
