As early Xbox One adopters will remember, Remedy Entertainment's Quantum Break launched as an exclusive for the platform (as well as PC), and has yet to be released anywhere else, with Microsoft being the publisher, so its removal from Xbox Game Pass is curious. Granted, Microsoft has previously shown a disinterest in holding on to another Remedy that it published, with the remaster of the Xbox 360 exclusive Alan Wake seeing a release on other platforms. Likewise, this year's Alan Wake 2 will be launching on PlayStation 5 as well as Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The Dungeon of Naheulbeak: The Amulet Of Chaos - Chicken Edition
The Long Dark
The Rift Breaker
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction
While there isn't a leaving date, it's expected that they'll be removed within the next two weeks.
While this doesn't necessarily indicate that Quantum Break will be seeing a PlayStation release, or receiving a multiplatform sequel like Alan Wake, this could be indicative of Remedy's intention to at least reference the game in its upcoming projects, with Control's DLC seemingly pointing to each of their titles potentially being a part of a shared universe. Naturally, this speculation should be taken with a grain of salt until we hear something from the developer itself.
While Quantum Break's reception was positive from many outlets, it ended up being one of Remedy's more divisive projects overall, with a sequel never coming to fruition despite indications that a follow-up might have originally been in the cards. Additionally, Microsoft never disclosed specific sales figures for the game, although Vice President of Marketing at Xbox, Aaron Greenberg, stated that the game had "sold really well" back in August 2016.
Currently, Remedy is working on both Alan Wake 2, which was confirmed to be playable from start to finish in February, and Control 2. The latter currently has no specified release window, but will also launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
