Bungie's new project “Destiny” is prematurely revealed

Marketing images that were supposed to be kept secret have been leaked, revealing an insight into what developer Bungie have been working on.

After the leak occurred Bungie themselves posted the image on their own site under the title “Well, that just happened… again.”

Along with the picture, all the post mentions is:
“Go ahead. Take a peek. It’s alright. We weren't quite ready, but we will be soon, and we can’t wait to finally show you what we've really been up to.

Stick around, we haven’t even started yet. “

According to Bungie co-founder Jason Jones, Destiny "is designed for your inner seven year old. We want to make it feel like a mythic adventure".

Bungie are also describing the game as “fun and accessible to all” with gameplay that is “social at its core”.

We'll bring you more news as it becomes available.

If they left Halo for this, must be one heck of a game that they're creating.


I think they just wanted to make another game besides halo. CoD should really think about doing this themselves.

Any way It's a great idea to see a whole different kind of game from bungie, might actually be worth $60.

I'm incredibly excited! This looks like a Fallout theme but with less of the nuclear missiles O.o

Bungie has always been one of my favorite developers and the humor they have when someone leaks something again is awesome.

Anyway, I'm sort of on the edge on the inner 7 year old...
Depending on your life as a 7 year old this could be different.
I remember playing Zelda and Pokemon. I loved adventure and RPG/RTS games.
So this would make sense for me if it was an adventure game.
