Steam Big Picture officially launched

4.6
Steam Big Picture is a new part of Steam that makes it easier for PC gamers to play on a TV with a controller.

Games are categorised into two sections:
Full controller support - “Games with Full Controller Support will work without a keyboard and mouse on hand, from installation to play and beyond. “

Partial controller support - “Games with Partial Controller Support may require a keyboard and mouse from time to time, during installation or for limited interactions.“

In celebration of this release Steam have lowered prices on lots of controller friendly games, most of them by 75 percent off!

There's lots of bargains to be had, check it out.

Sweet. The interface is nice but I don't use a TV.

This is cool. I don't use steam, I'm a console gamer, but if I do in the future I might find this useful if I want to use my TV also. I probably will though, when the time comes.

Great for remote players tbh. I was using it with my mouse/keyb and it was useless with that.

Ah, I see.

I downloaded steam on my MBP, and see "Big Picture" mode on the top right. Had never even seen or heard about this before, but now I do. Learn something new everyday, huh?

Awesome.
