Running until 23.59pm local time on August 16, the sale features almost 2,900 products at the time of publication, including full digital games and add-ons for PS5 and PS4.
Not all of the discounted titles will be available for the full duration of the promotion, with some set to be removed on August 2 (the sale end date for each game is listed on its PlayStation Store page).
Savings vary by region, but discounted titles available in the UK include Elden Ring, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, FIFA 23, Last of Us Part 1 and Dead Island 2.
Despite selling in record numbers, PS5 has recently been the subject of significant price promotions in European countries including the UK, Spain, Portugal and France.
In the UK, Sony cut the price of three PS5 console bundles (God of War Ragnarök, FIFA 23 and Modern Warfare 2) by up to £60 at the start of June, and they’ll remain priced at £479.99 until July 31.
It may be attempting to clear existing stock ahead of unconfirmed plans to launch a new PS5 model. It’s been claimed that the company intends to release a PS5 Slim console featuring a detachable disc drive around September 2023.
