As told to game informer by Last of Us's creative director, during the early stages of development for a possible Jak and Daxter 4 game the ideas and material being created just did not line up with what they felt the fans were expecting from a Jak and Daxter game. Naughty Dog did hint that a Jak and Daxter reboot may soon enough but not now, if you want a Jak and Daxter nostalgia fix be sure to pick up the Jak and Daxter: Collection on February 7th!

I spent hours of my childhood playing Jak and Daxter. Hopefully this game has the same re-play value as Jak and Daxter.
