Xbox helps man during home robbery

At a house in North Apollo, Derrick Shaffer was casually playing his Xbox, when the front door to his home opened. Derrick simply thought that a family member had come home, but instead found an armed man in a ski mask.
The armed robber bound Derrick with duct tape and zip ties while he robbed the house of money, jewels and several firearms. The robber then fled the house in a car belonging to Derrick's father.
Still tied up, Derrick managed to get to his Xbox headset and get the friend he was playing online with to call the police.
It's good to hear that playing video games had actually helped somebody for once. So if anyone ever complains that your wasting time playing Xbox, tell them it could help save your life in an emergency situation!

my brother had a heart attack and his girlfriend went on xbox and his dad was online he was then his dad called an ambulance and his life was saved :)

Same thing could have happened on PS3. You would just have to go on to a game and then join their session and then connect your shitty bluetooth mic.

Actually my friend if you think for once it makes sense.You see he could have got the Xbox and done something that could've aided him in the robbery. For example maybe he was trying to make it look like it was a casual day and the other guy was still playing. Other ways can be thought of as well.

I think the only reason why the title is "Xbox helps man during home robbery" is cause without his Xbox he couldnt contact with anybody, with just putting his headset on he'll be able to tell his friends that hes being robbed so his Xbox actually helped him during robbery. You guys gotta think differently, besides from that Lmao who the hell gets robbed in your own house while playing xbox xD I guess somebody needa a double
lock on that door.
