Call of Duty movie unlikely

Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has said that despite the campaign for Call of Duty being very cinematic, he has no interest in making the franchise into a movie.

Kotick has already turned down multiple requests from various studios that have offered to turn gamings biggest franchise into a movie. Kotick says movies based on video games rarely please devoted fans and could taint the brand.

Call of Duty makes up an estimated one-third of Activision’s more than $4 billion in annual revenue, so they certainly wouldn't want to do anything that could cause it harm.

Game-to-Movie adaptations have never worked very well, but if anyone knows of one that was actually good then please let us know.

The Resident Evil movie series is based of the game series. I like the movie series but seriously they've made i believe 6 movies. I think it's time to stop making them.

Guys, making a movie of this would ruin the franchise. No body would like it and people would make fun of the franchise.... So it's not worth it even if it is good

Forward unto dawn was a good movie for people who love Halo, and a CoD movie would probably be cool too. All they have to is remake modern warfare 1-3 into a movie and it would be awesome. For black ops they could make a movie out Zombies.
