Crysis 3 is not coming to the Wii U, for real this time

Crysis 3 is definitely not coming to the Wii U, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli tells Digital Spy. In July Crytek hinted that a Wii U version of Crysis 3 was a possibility, but even that slim chance has since vanished.

"There has been discussions between Nintendo and EA and Crytek, but the bottom line is that there is that there's not enough business drive in it," Yerli says. "It's a business decision between EA and Nintendo. If that business decision doesn't make sense, or seems to not make sense for them, it's... not possible for us to make it. We can't publish ourselves, and that's the bottom line."

In August, Crytek general manager Nick Button-Brown had the opportunity to put down any Wii U rumors, but he hedged his phrasing, saying Crytek wasn't "currently" developing for Wii U. But if EA doesn't see money in the Wii U, that's the final nail in Crysis 3's touchscreen, NFC-enabled coffin.

DemonSurfer Don't people know it's a "Wii U" not a "Wii" and yes it has got better graphics than the 360 and PS3 also for those saying the Wii is rubbish,how come it outsold both the 360 and PS3 combined? Why? Because it'd fun to play,remeber fun? yes before COD? COD which also looks better on Wii U BTW.Can't believe the ignorance of people and yes i own all 4 consoles.


It only sold so many units because people thought it would be good..it wasn't...I bought a wii, played it for a week and havent touched it in two years

I really do hate how people choose graphics over gameplay and story and now almonst every RPG That comes out has multiplayer that results in a disappointing game and also how people think that the Wii U is the new controller for the Wii

"COD looks better on Wii U" I don't know if you are **** retarded, or just another 5 year old. It's a new system, meaning NEWER hardware which is BETTER.
