Amazon is already a popular place to purchase a variety of items, including those related to video games. Not only do those items go on sale through the main site, but since 2020, Amazon Prime Gaming has doubled down on appealing to the gamer demographic. Bundled in with a regular Prime or Prime Video membership, it allows subscribers to access various free downloads and even some exclusive DLC and other rewards each month. This month, Amazon Prime Gaming's freebies are unsurprisingly spooky themed, with such titles including Ghostwire: Tokyo, GRUNND, and The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters Deluxe Edition among several others to get players in the Halloween spirit.
This November, the free output from Amazon Prime Gaming will include the Deluxe Edition of Rage 2, an apocalyptic open-world first-person shooter, and remastered Atari classic Centipede: Recharged in its first two weeks. A mystery-thriller puzzle game titled Evan's Remains come the day after the latter, and a Taiwanese adventure game known as Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery arrives less than a week later. On the 16th is the original version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. A humorous tactical RPG named The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos, which is based on the ideas of French author John Lang, will arrive on the 22nd. The day after will let players access Black Widow: Recharged, a remaster of the cult classic dual-stick shooter, complete with new music by Megan McDuffee. Orten Was the Case and Caverns of Mars: Recharged will close out November, being a puzzle adventure game and yet another remastered Atari game, respectively.
Rage 2: Deluxe Edition – November 2
Centipede: Recharged – November 9
Evan's Remains – November 10
Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery – November 16
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – November 16
The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos – November 22
Black Widow: Recharged – November 23
Orten Was the Case – November 30
Caverns of Mars: Recharged – November 30
An easy highlight of this lineup would be Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, an RPG originally released in 2003 that has since kicked off a game series of its own. Currently, there are plans for a modernized remake, although the KOTOR remake has been missing in the two years since it was announced. The original release was critically acclaimed back in the day, so Star Wars fans who might have some nostalgia for it will soon have the opportunity to nab KOTOR for free in hopes of tiding themselves over.
In addition to the above, all Amazon Prime Gaming subscribers will be able to access free in-game bonuses for titles such as Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty and Diablo 4 during November, alongside access to a rotating selection of Amazon Luna titles such as Ride 4, Fortnite, and Trackmania.
