Zelda: Wind Waker coming to Wii U in Autumn 2013

A lot of people were surprised today during Nintendo's Press Conference as they revealed that they are working on a HD remake of the GameCube classic, The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker for the Wii U.

The remake is the first Legend Of Zelda game on Wii U, and Nintendo are working on it alongside another Legend of Zelda game, which was showcased at E3 2011.

Eiji Aonuma (Game designer over at Nintendo) said that their new game is expected to take quite some time to complete, because it will 'rethink the conventions of Zelda.'

but they should make it for xbox/ps/pc so people dont have to waste their money on a shit console for a good game...

I remember crying when my brother (and me a bit) finally finished this game. It was actually that sad and thinking that we were done, there was nothing left. I'm pretty sure you can continue after defeating the last boss, so I'm not too sure what I thought. I was like 7 and it was a beautiful moment. This isn't even a port+retouching, it's an actual HD redo as far as I can see. I won't get a Wii U, but this is so sick.

i never that of it like that! thats really true, i only play the old zeldas because i dont want to waste money on the new consoles xD

GR33NV3N0M to be honest i think that Zelda the ocarina of time is the best Zelda game by far. and still probably one of my all time favorite games.
