Assassin's Creed 3 - Tyranny of King Washington DLC dated.

Ubisoft has announced a release date for episode 1 of Assassin's Creed 3 DLC; the Tyranny of King Washington.

The DLC is the first episode of a three part story which will "let players experience an alternate history of the American Revolution".

The first episode will be priced at 800 MSP (£6.85), it will be available on Xbox and PC on February 19 and PS3 on February 20. The DLC will be launched on the Wii U at an unknown date

"In the first episode of the Tyranny of King Washington series, the protagonist, Ratonhnhaké:ton, wakes up from a dream to find that, despite his efforts to deliver justice in the newly founded United States of America, a new king has been crowned - George Washington."

The DLC can also be picked up if you have the Assassin's Creed 3 season pass.

Why would they choose an American icon, I mean seriously. 0_O

I could name alot more people that could have been chosen but I guess it does fit for the time period.

Watching this trailer makes me sick to the stomach. George Washington was asked to keep his position as president the people loved him so. He wanted to step down to prevent a "tyrant" king from ever repeating itself in the US. George Washington was a rich man and he risked it all for freedom even though he could have played it off and remained a loyalist.

This looks like they put a lot of time and effort in to this dlc...not like call of duty franchise....
