Sony has revealed its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2024, ending on October 30th. It included updated sales numbers for titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which has sold five million copies since launch.

Insomniac’s eagerly-anticipated open-world superhero title launched on October 20th for PS5 and sold over 2.5 million copies in the first 24 hours. It became the fastest-selling first-party title in PlayStation’s history, beating previous record holder God of War Ragnarok. Since it was available for about 11 days last month, these are some pretty strong sales figures.

As for the future, the developer has confirmed that Miles Morales will be the leading Spider-Man.
