GTA 5 delay may mean next-gen release.

As you may know, Rockstar announced today that Grand Theft Auto 5 has been delayed by an extra 4 months, to allow for 'further development'.

This has left many to believe that GTA 5 will indeed be released on next-gen platforms.

Adding a further 4 months on to the development of the game means it will probably be released either after the consoles have been launched, or just before they have been launched.

Coincidence?

That's the stupidest thing I've heard in a while. Your comment would have only made sense if the game had already been posted to the person that "per-ordered" it.

Dreams ttg honestly posted this in the news? haha it wont be on next gen for many reasons 1 being they have no idea what kind of technology they would be limited to with the next gen and seeing as how they have already started making it for 360/ps3 and they arent gonna just decide to scrap all there work to make it for ps4/720....it would better anyways if it came out for current gen as they have already made gta4 on these consoles and know what they can handle and are cabable of

You do realize developers get early models of next gen consoles at least 6 months to a year before public release? Hell they could've already made a next gen version with the time they had.
