GTA 5 'could outsell Call of Duty'

Analysts have predicted that Grand Theft Auto 5 could sell over 18 million copies, which would knock Call of Duty off of the top spot on the charts.

Sources estimate that development costs for the game will total around $137.5 million. That's taking into account a 250-strong development team working over five years. It is also estimated a marketing spend of between $69 million and $109.3 million.

The game could sell anywhere between 16 million and 25 million, generating profit from $193.6 million to $390.8 million.

It is said that GTA 5 could also give Activision's Call of Duty a run for it's money on the top of the charts. Which we all know full and well that Call of Duty normally has annual chart dominance.

Vampiric When GTA5 comes out I'll either be starting my second year at college, or have been kicked out of college.
Get kicked out= play GTA5 everyday.
Stay at coll= obv carry on my course.

Either way it's a win. #lovinglife

And I wouldn't be surprised if it outsold call of duty. It's so highly anticipated and there's still loads of people playing GTA4, and that's what? Like 6 years old now and it's still amazing.


GTA 4 was made in 2008.. That's 5 years. But I agree it's a good game. GTA V will be amazing

Exactly so doesn't make sense I like cod but I think GTA will out sell it GTA is so phone but I got bored of iv then sold it hopefully won't do that with 5 because I heard the maps meant to be massive

I honestly hope that it sells more. I'm getting sick of CoD, and GTA, to me at least, never gets old.
GTA is fun any way, and CoD is only fun modded nowadays...
