Borderlands 2 sales near 6 million

Take-Two Interactive said that Borderlands 2 sales are nearing the six million sales milestone.

That's around a million more copies sold since they reported that around five million copies were sold by the end of October 2012, they also called the Gearbox-developed shooter "one of the most successful releases in 2K's history".

Borderlands 2 was also credited as a "significant contributor" to Take-Two's reported 244 per cent rise year-on-year in revenues generated from digitally delivered content in its fiscal Q3 2013.

2K Games has also recently confirmed plans to release the Borderlands 2: Add-On Content Pack at retail. It will include previously released DLC expansions such as Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, and Mr.Torgue's Campaign of Carnage.

What? You should try it, it's a great game.


It is a great game, i wish i had the money to buy it. Right now i'm saving for GTA 5 though.

It was awesome fun, especially playing multiplayer with friends.


Yeah, i only rented it though. Fun while it lasted.


Its one of those game you don't need to own. IMO

No game will amount to CoD the industry is too big. But for a game like this 6 mil is good


Which is actually kinda sad, seeing that, in my OP, CoD is not as good as a lot of games, despite Call of Duty's sales.


Yeah, I see things changing eventually though.


Hopefully GTA takes the throne.


I've got my money on it, it was a classic, just like COD. It just hasn't been spamming us with releases like COD.
