CoD's developers had bigger expectations for sales. This is surprising for a game like this.

That's not the point. The point with this game reaching 5 million copies is to show how awesome that is. This game, in all honesty, got horrible reviews, and was expected to do horrible, the company that developed it, only made 250k copies when the game was announced. It's just astonishing to see it turn around so much and to sell 20x what they thought they would. And personally, I'm happy for the DeadIsland makers, I loved the game. I've beaten it over 10 times and still love it. April 23rd is when the sequels released, and I sure cannot wait!
