New Call of Duty confirmed for Q4 2013, 'will raise the bar even higher.'

Surprise, surprise, Activision has recently confirmed their plans to release a new Call of Duty game in Q4 2013 (October - December)

"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation and we expect a new Call of Duty game in development for 2013 to raise that bar even higher," said CFO Dennis Durkin during a financials conference call on Thursday.

He also added: "There is increased volatility this year due to the ongoing console transition, which makes predicting the future more challenging than during normal uses in the cycle. For Call of Duty, consistent with our past practices, we are planning for the main line release in Q4 to be down versus 2012"

Many expect that the next Call of Duty is going to be another from the Modern Warfare set of games.

yay another call of duty!!! err no, its all garbage i cannot believe iv actually bought every game... mw2 and cod 4 for me were definately the best until the hackers got hold of it, w@w isnt bad at all just hackers again who wreck it, bops1 was and still is a sick game treyarch have done well with security so far, mw3 well it just goes down hill from there the game is full of glitches and the guns are daft in real life a shotgun is not lethal from a mile away and a sniper rifle shouldnt be as versatile as a smg also the matchmaking system is no good bops2 is a poor game the only thing worth playing is zombies they have ruined it by not listening to the community and have allowed campers, spawn killers and glitchers to destroy the game... no matter how bad it is people will buy it i just hope gta5 comes along and blows the gaming world apart

they should stop the Modern warfare series its getting pretty old. Infinity Ward should start fresh or completely do the opposite like Black Ops to BO2.

ZeroToleranceVideos as long as they don't call it modern warfare 4 that's fine. i wish they took the communities advice though


why wouldn't they call it Modern Warfare 4 I mean DICE is calling the next battlefield Battlefield 4 granted it would be the equivalent of saying Call of Duty 4 but I'm sure we will see a idk Bad Company 4 eventually
