New Call of Duty confirmed for Q4 2013, 'will raise the bar even higher.'

Surprise, surprise, Activision has recently confirmed their plans to release a new Call of Duty game in Q4 2013 (October - December)

"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation and we expect a new Call of Duty game in development for 2013 to raise that bar even higher," said CFO Dennis Durkin during a financials conference call on Thursday.

He also added: "There is increased volatility this year due to the ongoing console transition, which makes predicting the future more challenging than during normal uses in the cycle. For Call of Duty, consistent with our past practices, we are planning for the main line release in Q4 to be down versus 2012"

Many expect that the next Call of Duty is going to be another from the Modern Warfare set of games.

I don't think they will do anything special.


They will release an epic special edition


i was personally hoping it would be a remake and collaboration of every cod in one, every map,every gun,every killstreak,every perk and have everything resurfaced to match.also patch anything needed, and fix any spawns, i think that would be unbelievable.but i guess we will find out soon enough.

they wont do anything special for it most they would do is bring back a old weapon because they just want money

this years cod will not be next gen (i hope) because they would loose money because not every one can afford the console when it comes out so the 2014 cod will be next gen which is probs when the next xbox/ps comes out
