New Call of Duty confirmed for Q4 2013, 'will raise the bar even higher.'

Surprise, surprise, Activision has recently confirmed their plans to release a new Call of Duty game in Q4 2013 (October - December)

"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation and we expect a new Call of Duty game in development for 2013 to raise that bar even higher," said CFO Dennis Durkin during a financials conference call on Thursday.

He also added: "There is increased volatility this year due to the ongoing console transition, which makes predicting the future more challenging than during normal uses in the cycle. For Call of Duty, consistent with our past practices, we are planning for the main line release in Q4 to be down versus 2012"

Many expect that the next Call of Duty is going to be another from the Modern Warfare set of games.

I don't think people like it, I think they are just getting sucked into buying it for the ranks and following the herd of people. I stopped doing that this year...

MTV Modern Warfare 4 more than likely. Ever since MW2, IW has been slacking.


Maybe they will take the IW logo off the box, considering they don't do anything.
