Durango 'Xbox 720' Dev Kit crops up on eBay once again.

4.6
Quite a few months back, we made an article which gave details on a supposed sale of a Durango alpha tower. The seller, known as DaE, put the alpha tower up on eBay.

But after some time, DaE has put another tower back up on eBay yet again. Listing some of the details of the specs - with the message on his twitter "Last chance to own a piece of next-gen gaming history!"

Here are the specs which are listed on the eBay page:

Processor Type: 8-core 64-bit CPU
Processor Speed: 1.6 GHz
Hard Drive Capacity: 500 GB
Memory: 8GB
Primary Drive: BR 50G

Other sources believe the Durango tower he is selling may actually be authentic.

For those who do not know what the Durango is, it is the next generation Xbox which is still awaiting announcement. This is NOT what the console will look like either. This is called an Alpha Tower. It is in no way close to a final product.

Here is the link to the eBay listing if you want to check it out.

The previous Durango alpha tower he was selling eventually sold for $20,100. He is currently in talks with someone attempting to sell it at $3,000.

-LoneWolf- You guys saying this will be worth more in the future are idiots.. When tech advances the old tech goes down in price.. But if it's not tech but a item such as a old gun from Ww2 it's a different story

it is worth more to people that want to map out the new system and any potential vulnerability's as well as debugging and Dumping system and game information for modding and homebrew and linux development for the new console before its even publicly available.

He said in the future, meaning that ( for example ) in 5 years, this would not be worth more because technology would have advanced a whole lot more. Go try to find a computer from 2008 & tell me whether the price went up or down.

This wont be more as a useful item, but rather as a piece of video game history. Go buy a brand new NES in the box for example. Its old but it sure costs a lot

Sony would probably buy this to copy Microsoft :p

Activez- So whoever is selling it won't sell it to anyone in the U.S. So if someone from the U.S. was to buy they'd have to go to another country just to wait for it to be delivered?

Wrong, in the Q and A it says he will ship to the US. He says he will ship anywhere.
