EA exec: It is unlikely the next Xbox will play Xbox 360 games

An executive for Electronic Arts has recently claimed that we should not expect Xbox 360 games to run on the next-gen Xbox, nor should owners of the next Playstation expect to play PS3 games on the PS4.

Sources report that EA chief financial officer, Blake Jorgensen, said "An important thing to remember is that next-gen consoles will most likely not be backwards compatible… And if you play multiplayer on a game, you'll most likely not be able to play with someone on a different generation."

If all of this stuff that is being leaked about the new gen Xbox is true ( even though the Xbox 360 was over exaggerated like this ) BUT, if it is what all of the community is saying, Microsoft is going to lose a bunch of clients and consumers to the Xbox community.
I know that me and about half of my gamer friends on Xbox Live all said that we would switch to Sony's PS3/PS4. I myself like Xbox because it's just more fun to me, but if this is how Xbox is gonna make the New Gen of Xbox, well sadly and sorry to say Microsoft but in my opinion you're going to lose a ton of consumers interest.

Xbox doesn't suck. Their just trying to build up profits by making people buy the new console games instead of being able to use old ones!

We'll see how it turns out.
