Final Fantasy 14’s next expansion, Dawntrail, has much to offer long-time fans as they venture to Tural, a brand new continent. While there are new races to interact with, new Jobs to pick up and the Female Hrothgar, the locations are also interesting. First is Solution Nine, a futuristic-looking city built by a different civilization.

Shades of the Fallen from Final Fantasy 16? Who can say, but the technological motif is pretty similar. There’s also Heritage Found, overflowing with thunderclouds and pulsing lightning throughout the day. Players will also explore several tropical-looking locations and thick jungles.

A separate trailer also highlights the new Dungeons. Some are in ancient underground temples, but at least two appear to be set in Solution Nine and Heritage Found (if not their regions). We’ll have to wait for more details to know for sure.

Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail launches this Summer for PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S.
